This is the English Japanese Language Exchange discord server.

There is a vibrant community of people, both native Japanese speakers and Japanese learners, willing to practice the language together (via text or voice chat). There’s also a lot of places where it is possible to ask questions, find help/guidance for your studies, or just chill and relax with similarly-minded folks.

Looking for a study partner
- Conclusion: Don’t get a study partner, it’s a really bad idea. If you need people to chat about studying Japanese or to ask for advice, there’s some great discord servers for language exchange (like EJLX#). Or you can find a tutor on websites like italki.com instead (ideally a native speaker).

- Join EJLX# and ask questions in z:tag/japanese_questions if you need help. Tell them Morg sent you.
- If you disagree with anything I’ve written here or think you can do better, then come fight me in z:tag/japanese_study on EJLX#, I’m not afraid.
